Today (after I heard the news) I remember thinking that only a few months ago I suspected that Kurt Vonnegut Jr would be President of the United States of America in about thirty years...cause he was unkillable. I guess not, literally, but literally, his literary genius continues to live on even today, and with any luck, people will start burning his books (I mean, Breakfast of Champions does have dirty pictures in it) which, in turn, will cause kids today to read his books (after all, Breakfast of Champions has dirty pictures in it).
I loved him, and I never knew him. He loved music, and he knew God. He drew pictures of what she looked like in Breakfast of Champions.
Seriously. Naked people kind of dirty pictures.
