I'm going to be honest.

I have a pound of ground Organic Mexican in my back seat. The bag has some brake fluid on it. I was going to mail it to you a month ago. I didn't.

Also, I didn't watch your friend on YouTube. I saw what looked like a Corona bottle and just skipped it. I figured, hey, it's Mardi Gras, and if someone wants to drink Corona, well, that's between them and Jesus, but I'm not sure I want to get involved.

Am I a bad friend?

I love you guys.

since i'm the other URG reader, i guess that i should comment.

i actually watched the video. this chair has arm rests on it, and i used the arm rests to brace myself like a man for the video.

this morning i woke up at 5 a.m. i ran on a treadmill at the local workout facility for 20 minutes at 6.5 mph. actually, i ran for 10 minutes at 7 mph, then i switched back to 6.5 mph. i like running on a treadmill because the treadmill facilitates my need to "zone out" while running. today i stared at the floor and tried to count how many bible verses i knew. i stopped at two.

then i went home and made my lunch for the day, being careful to eat two ounces of smoked gouda cheese in the process. one ounce of smoked gouda cheese has six grams of protein - quite comparable to the protein found in tuna fish. after running on a treadmill for 20 minutes, i need that protein to, you know, blow my calf muscles up and shit.

then i drove to starbucks to purchase coffees for me and the wife. this is probably the most American thing i will do all month. i did not vote. i will procrastinate on my taxes till april. i probably will not attack a neighbor with a gun, a bomb or a picketting sign. but i bought designer coffees this morning - and didn't leave a tip. (this actually bothers me quite badly. i did not have cash at the time. i promise to go back later and pay the baristas for their efforts. again, another un-American action on my part.)

on the way to patriotically purchase my coffees, i listened to the dropkick murphys sing the song "the fields of athenry." i love this song. filled with irish pathos and bagpipes, this song offers a melodic "fuck you" to england. i like patriotic songs from other countries.

after i returned home from coffees i woke my wife up quietly. i even told her she was pretty. this is probably an American action on my part because i learned all my romantic moves from bon jovi records in the sixth grade.

this video helped me learn many things.
a) i forgot to take out the trash this morning.
b) i really love root beer too.
c) notebooks are good.
d) jesse is protesting. that's very American of him.

So I went and watched it.

I am about 92% positive that if I saw that guy somewhere and spoke with him at least ten minutes, I'd probably go back to his place with him to share a Corona and watch Star Wars. And I hate Corona.

"Cheers, Seanboy."

"Cheers, Video-lad."

(sound of clinking Rolling Rock bottles and good times)

I enjoyed the video. But not as much as Kevin's blog. Both my wife and I laughed out loud (I refuse to use LOL) at the part about knowing 2 bible verses. I laughed because you are able to admit that and that's probably how many I know by heart.
I miss you Kevin. I miss you Jesse. One day, maybe it will not be until the sweet by and by, but one day we will hang out.

From now on please only call me video-lad. I like that. More than I should. I hope to make more videos soon, to inspire ambivalence and ennui in the masses once more.

And Sean, the fact that you list only two (2) movies as favorites, and one of them is Rushmore, means we'd have a lot to talk about over root beers. ("Go get root beers for everyone that wants one. I don't want one."
