I wouldn't want to be accused of over-reacting, but that win last night propels LA to the Series. And brings peace to the Middle East.

Cardinal--keep up the sports posts.
We've got two weeks left to seperate the men from the boys, and I've a feeling that the jeerers will find themselves in a prediciment similiar to that of the proverbial man who built a house on the proverbial sandy soil, and they might even get their asses whopped.

Besides, they're probably Royals fans or something.

How about that Howard fella?

Why only 2 weeks? Pro sports will drag on and on far into January. (Or do "sports posts" really mean "baseball posts"?)

we're doing our part to help you guys see that baseball isn't fun. it is some remnant element of boyhood that leaves its residue on your soul but doesn't actually translate very well to the present. let's call this an intervention of sorts and be friends. i'll buy you the peanuts and cracker jacks and you can root, root, root for the hometeam and all that. just join a fantasy league and leave it there. this blog is too fantastic to degenerate into sports talk. for the love! i do love you jesse for the record, no matter what your ERA is/was/will be.

wait.
comment totals don't mean shit. i have like 15 comments on Uma's alien origin. if i put up a serious post or a post about something i love, i am likely to have like 3 comments. we can't be swayed by the commenting! if i put up a post about say my son and i love it and the boy's grandma loves it. fine. i shouldn't edit b/c its not a crowd pleaser. so, what i am saying is POST ABOUT BASEBALL friend and let my jabbs glance off that rippled torso of yours like so much silly string exiting Tom Hank's nose in "Big." i don't care. you're doing what you want to do and i respect THAT just not baseball. if i didn't comment you know you'd be dissappointed. AND, by the way, I am NOT going to comment on the office debut b/c i didn't see it. there. not because i didn't read it. i have to assume even if i get 2 comments on a post only, that a whole hell of a lot more folks read it and love it (or hate it, whatever) and just don't have the time or will to comment. no big thang! i hit your site about twice a day for the record (first thing in the am and usually once more during the day) goes for sean, and miller and smanny and moljr and stephanie and myles and thad and god rest his soul hamster for a random treat and i visit other blogs too just not twice a day, so..... does my commenting reflect that? nope. BUT if one of these bastards so much as thinks about posting on baseball i am ALL over it. i think i did do that when myles and hamster have chosen to profane in months past. i am an equal opportunity whiner!

I never realized how much Dan Patrick looks like a Evangelical pastor. That man belongs behind a pulpit, inside a baptist church, located in a Southern State, within the United States of America.
