Sara and Julius Were.
They run a great organization called Soulfari. It helps lots of people.
This was CNN's top story this morning. The murdered government official mentioned in the article was Julius' older brother.
Think of them today, aspire for peace and then do something. Anything. I'll update you on ways we can help the Were's directly as that information becomes available.

I pray that God gives Julius, his wife, and their family such peace that it passes all their understanding. And May the Lord send His Spirit to wash over them as The Comforter.
Here in my home, I just told the kids yesterday, as some exciting but stressful things were going on, to pursue peace. "And if peace is already happening, don't mess with it!" I told them. Seems to me, a simple contradictory word, said with the intention of "being funny" is plenty enough to destroy peace. So are words said to critisize something/someone who is resting in peace.
I say, the least we can do to promote the Kingdom is walk in peace (which amounts to love/trusting our Father)among each other and the "Gentiles". I pray they can see the difference between us and them and are drawn to Jesus because of it.
